Welcome to my home on the web!
I write under the names Susan Sipal, S.P. Sipal, and Lora Kenton covering fiction and nonfiction through novels, short stories, editorials and writing guides. I've also worked as an editor for a couple of smaller independent publishers.
Inside these pages you'll find excerpts from my stories, blurbs on works in process, favorite books, and personal news.
I offer a variety of workshops to writers' groups. Please see my workshops page for a brief description.

Star Sipal
Thanks to the Spacecoast Authors of Romance Writers Launching a Star Contest, and their coordinator Lee Duncan, there is now a star in the sky named Sipal! They were going to name it Susan Sipal, but my kids were so thrilled with the idea of a star bearing our name, that I asked them to just make it Sipal. Look hard one clear night in the Big Bear constellation, and you just might see our star twinkling at you. :-)
